18.  wet jet wet blasting

The process of cleaning and roughening surfaces by the impact of a high - speed flow of abrasive - water mixture.

19.  sandblasting sand blasting

The process of cleaning and coarsening the substrate surface by the impact of high-speed sand flow.

20.  shot blasing

The process of cleaning and strengthening the substrate surface by the impact of high-speed pellet flow.

21. Rusting grade

Grade of corrosion on steel surface.

22. Derusting grade

Degree of removal of corrosion on steel surface.

23. Abrasive

A natural or synthetic solid material used as a jet treatment medium.

24. Grit

An abrasive for ejecting angular or irregularly shaped particles.

25.  shot

A bulbous abrasive used in jet treatment.

26. Remove old paint depainting

Remove old and damaged coatings in preparation for repainting.

The process of converting a surface into an appropriate state that can be successfully treated in subsequent processes.
