The Whole Process Of Machining Precision Machine Parts

The whole processing process of precision parts processing can be divided into the following stages:

1. Rough machining stage.Cut off most of the machining margin of each machining surface and process to a fine standard, mainly to maximize productivity. 

2. Semi-finishing stage.The possible defects after the removal of rough machining are prepared for the surface finishing. It is required to achieve a certain machining accuracy, to ensure the appropriate finishing allowance, and to complete the processing of secondary surface. 

3. Finishing stage.In this stage, large cutting speed, small feed and cutting depth are used to cut off the finishing margin left by the previous procedure, so that the surface of the parts can meet the technical requirements of the design. 

4. Finishing stage.Mainly used to reduce the surface roughness value or strengthen the machining surface, mainly used for the surface roughness requirements are very high (ra≤0.32 m). 

5. Ultra-precision machining stage.The machining stage is when the machining precision is 0.1 -- 0.01 m and the surface roughness value ra≤0.001 m.The main processing methods are: precision cutting, mirror grinding, precision grinding and polishing.
